The Pan-African Association of Sanitation Actors was launched in Cape Town, South Africa, on the sidelines of the International Conference on Fecak Sludge Management ( FSM5/AFricasan5) in February 2019, with the aim of creation a synergy in the interventions of private sector sanitation actors for the development of the sanitation sector in Africa.
